Easiest project to make on a wood lathe?
For woodworking tech we have to make something on the wood lathe. it has to be a cup/goblet/small bowl.
I'm really bad at woodworking and afraid of the lathe so what would be the easiest thing to make? and doesn't take long?

Get help. These things can tear your fingers off and worse. What kind of an instructor would send you on such a job unprepared? Get instruction as in === have somebody show you before you touch anything!! You are absolutely correct in your fears! Stay away from any moving machinery, including driving a car, unless you are trained in advance.
Rat your instructor out to the principal. Only a complete idiot would send you off unprepared on such a job! Look them right straight in the eye and ask them what in the heck they are trying to do!
I think woodworking is easy, everyone can do that. But the main problem is, we don’t have enough literature just like study cased. Try to learn from practice and practice, as from my experience when i started to learn woodworking i try to find much literature from internet for my practice. Just try to read tutorial from sample project plans
